Home-made, home-grown and hand-crafted!

Special Event.

Willaston Country Market will celebrate the "Seville Orange" season with a Marmalade Festival on Friday 3th March. Customers can enjoy tasting the many varieties available, before choosing their favourite. Marmalade related treats such as Seville Orange Truffles and Marmalade Cake are also available, together with our usual bakes both sweet and savoury, including fresh bread baked using Shipton Mill's organic flour.

Though traditional Seville Orange Marmalade is still very popular, the addition of a little Stem Ginger, Malt Whisky, Cointreau, or Spiced Rum, makes for interesting alternative treat! Also popular were market specialities, including: Rosemary's Pink Grapefruit, Hilary's Windfall Marmalade, and Jackie's Seville Orange Curd! Other varieties included Dark Oxford, made with soft brown sugar, Clementine, Grapefruit and Quince.
